POOCHI POOCHI SPARKLING SAKE
Sommelier Alice’s Tasting Note: Poochi Poochi is an echo-word often used to describe the sound of bubbles in Japan. Even-though the bottle design is so cute, this is a serious sparkler made with Champagne method or methode Champenoise, where the second fermentation occurs in the same bottle. Floral aroma of sweet pea and acacia followed by coconut nuance. This sake (unfiltered so slightly cloudy looking) has a very persistent fine bubbles with beautifully balanced acidity. Perfect kanpai drink for celebratory occasions!
